Looking for an inexpensive sub woofer. Suggestions?

So I'm currently looking to add a subwoofer to my current rig.

I'm a college student and I work like 10 hours a week so my budget is very limited. Thusly, I'm looking at something I could find for $150 or under on Amazon.

The set up is for listening to .flac and .wav, movies, and gaming, so I don't need anything extravagant and $150 is my limit.

The input connectors don't really matter, outputs aren't needed, nor is a low pass knob or crossover knob.

I plan on using a 2 way crossover so my setup looks like the following picture.

I'm currently looking at a Polk Audio PSW10, Polk Audio PSW 110, and the Yamaha YST-SW216BL for $120, $152, and $97 respectively. Are there any other additional/better options?

I was in a similar position and the best advice I got was " you buy a cheap sub, you get cheap bass "

Decided right there to be a little more patient and save up for a good quality 'budget' sub instead of skimping out.

If you can extend your budget by $100, check out the Outlaw M8. They sell b-stock for $225 now but they have been on sale for as low as $175 I believe.

You can google some reviews but from what I've read, it is a very good budget sub that goes low and is fairly musical.

Velodyne VX-11, might a little over $150.

These are still rather expensive. $150 is my limit. This is a budget system that's just intended to sound better than any stock logitech computer system you can buy. I'm not too worried about the low end,  I just don't want it to sound like a trombone under water that rolls off at 45Hz

http://www.amazon.com/Dayton-Audio-SUB-100-Powered-Subwoofer/dp/B000PH21S2/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1327944675&sr=8-11 , you won't need that crossover aswell as it has 1 built in with a low level pass thru.

This is true, but the crossover will do two things for me. It will allow easy an convenient access to the master level, and high and low levels without having to reach behind my units to adjust them, as well as taking some of the low end off my monitors speakers for better mids and highs.

but most low end subs won't have a crossover built in, maybe just a frequency low pass limiter but thats about it.

Thanks for the sub link though
