I own the westone 3 and the shure 535 as well and although I always loved the 4P i found it a bit lacking in efficiency and bass and overall impact.....for whatever reason I decided to pick up a headphone amp and how that worked out and all I can say is I am impressed....the sound is bigger and more spacious and the nuance I hear in the music is incredible......i am constantly amazed as to how good such an old single driver IEM remains...although I wish I didnt need to carry the amp around with me the combo is as good if not better than anything else I have heard!
