Crossfade LP2 vs. Pro700MK2?

Thread Starter

I've looked everywhere and I haven't found a comparison between the V-MODA Crossfade LP2 and the Audio-Technica Pro700MK2. I'm looking for a bassy portable that will keep me content when I'm not using my Pro 900's.

-I would be able to get these at a similar price. I'd be using the Clip+ and a ZO2. If I were to buy the Pro700MK2, I would also purchase M50 pads.

-I'm not concerned with bass quantity. I'm interested in bass quality.

-I hate how muddy the Beats Studios sound so I'm hoping these two are much better.

-Soundstage is pretty important. I don't want to feel claustrophobic.

-I'm very interested in overall sound quality.

If someone has both cans and would do me the favor of comparing them (in detail would be excellent), I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thanks so much in advance! basshead.gif

1. Get a credit card

2. Order both from amazon

3. Try them both out from the convenience of your home!

4. ????

5. Send back loser headphones.

I have the pro700's with a zo2 and have no complaints what so ever!!! The bass is definately there and it punches. But my description can vary from yours. I would say just try them both out and decide :)
