700x doesn't fit :(

So I got the ne700x and I love the sound, but they don't fit. I've gone through all the fittings and nothing works. Today it was hurting my ear a bit. I think I'm going to have to return them.

So With that type of sound, what would come close? I can spend a bit more if i had to.

Have you tried Comply Foam tips?

No, not a fan of the foam tips..I feel it muffles the sound a bit.

Absolutely not if they don't extend far beyond the nozzle extremity.

BTW, you say provided tips didn't work, but what exactly was wrong ?

Too small? Too big for you ear canals ? Not staying in place ?

Choice in tips can vary a lot depending mainly on the size of your ear canals.

I, with my jumbo ear canals, don't have the same issues as people with small ear canals.

They don't fit snug enough in my ear. They feel too lose and the casing rubs against my ear a bit..can hurt at times.

Yeah indeed, looks like they're not right for you, especially if the casings hurt you.

But no suggestion for you, I don't know how they sound, sorry...

These headphones are sub $100..I'd go up to $125...thing is, I listen to every genre of music.

You like the sound of the 700s...  Can you be more specific to what you liked and what you didn't?  Otherwise, I can't really make a suggestion.

It sounds clear. Hits highs well and has good bass.  Didn't sound muffled or lacking in anything, really.

Try the ThinkSound TS02?

This might sound weird, but i had the S4i and I liked how the bud curved into the ear, it wasn't straight.

Is that more ergonomically correct?

The curve is made to fit more comfortably.  However, if you truly need comfort, go get some PFEs.  I think the black or green filters would be for you.

Which PFE? I hear a lot about that company.

The 0xy and 1xy series (replace x's and y's with numbers) are the same except for the filters they come with.  If you put black/grey filters on an 0xx series PFE, you'll get a 1xx IEM (or one that sounds like one).  If you put green filters on a 1xx you'll get an 0xx.  I would recommend the 0xx for you (green filters, AKA PerfectBass model).  If you don't like it, buy some filters :p
