I just ordered a pair for a friend from here, which came to £18.33 ($28.59). I'll post once I've received them.

Great cheers Null, I couldn't find much so was going to stay away but I might as well have a go beerchug.gif

I own(ed) a pair of 215s. The CKM50 has quite a bit more bass; mids are might be near equal (with Shure being a tad better, but I don't have the CKM50 burn-in fully to say yet); highs are better and more natural in the ATH. Overall I would give the nod to the CKM50 (without burn-in) over the 215. Vocals are wonderful in the CKM50...

The 55 replaced the 50 in the line, should be very close

If I'm not wrong the CKM55 is the new and improved version of the CKM50, so the CKM55 would be better based on that information?? xD

Yes but the CKM50 can be had for less money and in most cases the improvements in sound are minimal.

Still $35 on Amazon as I type....I'll just keep a browser window open on that page until it drops to a bit over $25 and I'll pull the trigger.

And the CKS55 is the successor to the CKM55.  I've found the CKM55 for £27 and the CKS55 for £30.  Not that I value their opinion much but Whathifi rate both of them highly.  CKS55 looks real fugly though IMO.

i dont think the CKS55 is the successor to the CKM55, the CKS series is the Solid Bass series, if im not mistaken, and the CKM is a whole other series.

I have the CKM33, CKM55, CK303, CKM77 all on order guys. I will evaluate each one on their own merits and how they compare to the CKM50s. I have a feeling the sound signature will be identical on the CKM55 to the CKM50s.. Will know soon enough. I loved the sound I was hearing from my CKM50 so much I went nuts on the whole CKM line minus one CKM99.. Maybe those have been discontinued for a reason.

In any case. Enjoy a truly awesome earphone guys. These are impressing me more and more every day.

Amazing! I just got mine and I can safely say that these are everything I hoped the Isurus would have been. I'll update later
