So I recently bought the Bose AE2 headphones and am returning them due lack of bass and have decided to go back to the in ear headphone style. I've narrowed down my choices betwween the Klipsch S4 for 79.99 and the Monster Turbine In Ear for 87.58. Any suggestions either way? My main concern is durability, comfort and obviously sound.

First, I should note that I auditioned these both straight out of the box, without any break-in time and then later after 53 hours of break-in. Recent scientific studies have shown definite...

A very all-round headphone for me. Just the right one to take on the go or on holiday. Also as a DJ, nice noice isolation. Very durable so you don't have to wonder if it will break if you throw...

If you care about sound, lean away from the S4. They are really over rated, as an owner of them I cant give them a good review. $79.99 is retail, you can get them for about $50 on ebay. I havent heard the Turbine, so I cant comment on them.

x2 on the S4 -- the best way I can describe them is "bombastic." The bass is big, but it is boomy and fairly out of control. The highs are pretty grating. After about 100-150 hours of use, they finally settle down some, but they are still pretty boomy and sizzling even after that.
Two similar priced but better earphones would be the Nuforce NE-700 and Brainwavz M2, both on Amazon.com.
