HD 598 Setups (DAC + Headphones)

For audio experts out there - i have a simple math problem XD

 

I currently own a Fiio e10. Frequency response - 20 hz to 20 khz

 

and an HD 598. Frequency response - 12hz to 38.5 khz

 

I know I may be oversimplifying stuff, but does this mean that i'm not getting the most out of the HD 598?

I believe human hearing is only 20hz to 20khz (not sure), so all the extra frequencies that the HD598 is capable of...well it's not going to do anything for you.

Yeah, roughly 20hz to 20khz.

At that point, numbers like the HD598s are more of a marketing gimmick. People are impressed because the HD598 and other headphones are capable of producing sounds that surpass our own hearing.

So don't worry too much about the E10.
