V-MODA M-100: Discussion/Feedback, Reviews, Pics, etc. - Page 467

Well, I'm sure if lubczyk meant what he said, someone else would be happy to take over his pre-order ;-). But seriously though, hype is everywhere. Try living in big cities where constantly being surrounded by advertising, etc. IMHO, falling for hype is really the responsibility of the individual - and even more so in internet forums where it's up to each individual's choice to read or follow a thread. Quite unlike, say, tupperware parties, where there's probably somewhat more peer pressure to buy something that's not needed.

Anyhow, all I can say is that I do carry my M-100 everywhere. And time permitting, do listen to them. Some of you are on the right track that I've not put up my review yet for other (non-technical) reasons.

When a person loves someone or something, it's an immediate reaction. Though you can grow to appreciate or love something. For example, if you had been on junk food your whole life, it will take you awhile to start loving healthy food and adjust to it for its benefits and taste. So liking a headphone is very very subjective.

That is what makes them so great for storage..... back to the M-100.  I wonder if the boom mic will only work with the M-100 or with any headphone that has a removable cord and microphone capability?  My son is a gamer and I am not.  There is NO WAY I am lending him my M-100 for gaming, but he is welcome to use the boom mic with his Ludacris Souls if it is compatible.

We will be receiving quite an extensive package of goodies when the preorders ship.

Well, he is 16 and has broken, submerged or lost his last 6 cell phones, so what do you think?

"Dad! Dad! I was listening to your headphones when they spontaneously combusted! Honest!"

Yes, Val may want to have him on retainer for extreme durability testing :)

I think you're a bit late on the pattern recognition, frankly. :)

If I lost my first and only cell phone, I would never get another one from my parents. Ever.
