So many secrets, the suspense is excruciating but also fun! Will you ever set up a small meet in New York?

I'm doubting that is a 1/4" intended for the headphone end to be connected.  In none of the pics of the M-100 has it looked like a 1/4" connector is plugged into it.

I know...

Well... there are three cables coming with the M-100's... Maybe that plug's just part of that third cable they're including.

Holy crap. Listening to Merzbow was scarier than watching the Exorcist. I literally lasted 3 seconds on Hummingbird before ripping the headphones off my head. Good luck to me trying to sleep tonight.

Could be for sure (reason why I stated maybe it was some studio cable :p).  Without a proper reference we really can't tell what size the plug is though, especially at that angle...

Maybe the Chemical Bros for 4th.  Merzbow is a Japanese Industrial musician, undoubtedly an aquired taste, might slip in at 3rd.  I used to play the track '716' from them just to piss of the neighbors but it has affectionately grown on me.

I still intend to play Antidepressant 044 first. As much as I love The Doors I want to break in my M-100's with a song that just throws everything at you in a wonderful configuration of sound that just makes my brain tingle with joy. Speaking of The Doors however I just recently acquired a 12" Japanese pressing of LA Woman nearly mint with the OBI strip still intact! But I guess I may be treading off topic a tad.

Does anyone see why he may have posted this? Is it a 1/4" adapter?

To me, it looks like a 1/4 adapter with a tail end. This is perhaps so that the adapter has a cable itself?

WHY.

WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS VAL?

NOW I WILL BE TEMPTED TO WAIT FOR THAT. confused.gif

As far as all the 'Merzbow' comments.  Didn't mean to scare anyone but like I said, you got a ********* of a neighbor, put the speaker in the window and CRANK IT UP!  Here is weapon of my choice, '716'. http://www.djdownload.com/mp3-detail/Merzbow/716/Editions%20Merzbow/2717262  'Requiem' is also a crowd pleaser.

Captain's Log left me wanting more as usual.  Hope he throws us a bigger bone to mull over tomorrow.

THE 1/4" coiled will be an accessory for M-100... the three cables included are 1, 3 and dual share audio.

Don't forget our CDJ friends, they depend on long cables....

M-100 Chronicle Countdown... Captain's V-LOG, Vegadate 62112.8. Our position, orbiting pre production M-100. On board for the Audiophile Prize, Mister Gavin temporarily in command. On the planet the ruins of the long-dead celebrity headphones polluting the audiophile civilisation. Ship's sound engineer and myself are now beaming down to the driver’s purpose. Our mission, precise sound and engineering examination of M-100 and each accessory. Routine but for the fact that I am twice shy by the past is a concern. M-100's golden audio units are the best sound we've EVER heard by any audio device in the galaxy. Yet, we encountered one small part that would hurt "golden ear" audiophiles that may hold up production. THIS, MY FRIENDS, is when you decide to launch or not to launch... many companies say yay... we say NAY.

Awesome. Best to take your time so the M-100 ends up the best it can be.

Would be very interesting to know exactly what that is, sadly not every1 is able to demo the M100 pre-launch. :) Sounds though that you are trying to release a $300 product with $1000 worth sound quality to it haha xD I can see this headphone becoming very very popular being fullsized and the best sound yet from V-Moda with that same nice design and durability so it's probably a wise decision to try make it as good as possible before launching it as if you make the right choices, this will be a killer product that every1 will write about.

As long as the bass response isn't being changed anymore I'm happy, it sounded like it was perfectly configured with the 4 samples, I really wanna see that 8~9dB bass boost stick with the final samples. :P
