Hmm, anakchan (spelling?) posted the only breakdown on the sound of the pre-production models, probably within 5 pages back, I'll post the page when I find it for you. Might not get to it for 6 hours from now tho, so you may want to look back yourself.

Basically, they've got a pretty good soundstage for closed headphones, like Denon does with their +$100 headphones (don't know directly how they compare), and overall it is tuned for a full-bodied sound with non-fatiguing (nor hearing-damaging) highs. These are also to be circum-aural but they are fashionable and isolating enough to use portably, and also fold and fit into a nice carrying case, along with extra cords and accessories.

Anticipation is indeed very high.

Hey - I only told you about them - you did the rest when it came to asking questions and getting curious.

Val, can you please make sure amazon.co.uk is recieving their samples as soon as possible? It took a while with the LP2 launch. It's among the very best places for us europeans to order from with free shipping option that is delivered faster than paying for shipping from other places :p and returning goods is very easy.

 

Every1 within europe can order easily from amazon.co.uk so it would be a good place to focus extra much on as far as europe goes. I live in Finland which is quite far from UK but amazon.co.uk is still the place I usually check the first if interested in a new headphone cuz it's usually among the cheapest and it takes like only 1 day extra than ordering from my own country and that's with free super saver delivery even lol and no place in Finland would ship for free, I can tell you that much, usually it's like 10 EUR or slightly more in shipping alone. They also have the best "no-questions asked" easy return process & policy ever.

I recall him saying it might be awhile for europe - I believe he said they wanted to focus more on the north american and asian markets at first.
