Actually both statements are correct.

3dB is double the power, but 10dB is double the loudness impression. So to double your perceived loudness you need about 8 times the electrical power. Which in turn makes the often seen discussions of 130mW vs. 150mW quite pointless ;-)

I never listen to my music full blast and I put my bass eq all the way down on the power amp app when I tested out the M100s and still a very good amount of bass so I think I should be fine smily_headphones1.gif

Why not get the sennheiser momentums? IMO they sound pretty great, tight bass, great mids, smooth treble and all, just without the 8db bass boost of the m100's.

The V-modas just fit for me, the momentums are a bit smaller fit because they don't have the triangles.

I've tryd the Momentums and loved them and they fit me perfectly but for the music I listen to I felt that the M100s do way better all around and when I tested the M100s they had XL earpads so yeh tongue.gif

Yes. They are run by amazon and basically sell you products that have been returned to amazon. This could be for minor cosmetic damage on the packaging or product or just if the customer doesn't like the product and has returned it.
Be aware that if you buy an m100 from them it will not be covered under warranty. V moda still covers it with the imortal life programme so if it breaks, you can get a new on for half price. Check out their warranty page for details.

Glad I could help

Not entirely true, I was offered cosmetic repair, replacements however are not offered. (amazon warehouse deals).

Immortal life probably still holds up.

BE AWARE that amazon sold me a warehouse deal marked as "VERY GOOD" with both plastic coverings above the hinge split open!

I don't feel like sending it in, it's minor, but still feel screwed by amazon.

Yeah, I just checked amazon warehouse page and not sure about whether its a good deal, though a used m100 for $217..that's a pretty decent price drop

Amazon warehouse deals is pretty good but I've received totally broken inoperable items from them in the past. They allow returns though and even pay the shipping back. I still think it's hit and miss.

So even if a product is listed like new theres still a chance that its not?
