I have your shields as well but I use brushed metal with my own design that covers the whole shields. I find anything like your shields to be distasteful as I'm a fan of val's term "stealth mode".

Am I imagining things or do the XL pads slightly improve clarity? and the bass gains texture and loses a hint of over-presence compared to standard pads? I love it.

My modded m100... and i want more, like  white m100 + 5-6 custom shields )

Sound is amazing - much better than UE900 with custom cable.

What kind of cable are you using here?

It's hand-made hybrid cable. Silver+copper. And headphones modified too.  3.5 jack insert in each cup, default cable into headband cutting  for minimizing  resistance between left and right channels.

Cable have 8 veins. 4 on each channel.

Anyone ever try and put one of those bluetooth reciever adapters to the m100? I see now they have them in Bluetooth 4.0 and aptx which should sound pretty good? Any one ever try and mod an m100 to be wireless?

MATTE GREEN AND MATTE BLUE SHIELDS FOR M-100

COMING SOON, PICS ON THE WAY.  You can already buy a M-100 new now with Matte Green/Blue and we'll work out how to order it as an accessory.  But we do not have them for the LP/LP2 series yet as we are still awaiting parts.  Trust me, these are my favorite shields so far we have made.

Very cool! I really like the matte green. In fact, I like matte much more with any color.

That's like a military green...  Gives me an idea...  maybe a camo color scheme :p  ROFL, that'd be interesting :p  Or maybe camo plates with a matte green housing/headband (might not look as good :p)

Is that an e10 in your first link?

no, it's old photo and this is dx50+e12 - bass is very very punchy, i can feel how earcups vibrate on infra-low.

But now i have only DX90 and sound is much more interesting and detailed

Not imagining it.
The Alpha dogs have massive pads kind of like the XL pads which gives them a really smooth and silky sound.
