At $100 I absolutely love the C&C BH2 w/ the M100.

Thanks! I'll look those up smily_headphones1.gif and do you think I should get a DAC too? If so can you name some that's at a reasonable price.

There aren't many DACs that are around $100 outside of the Fiios.  I had the e17 and the e07k (the latest one, not the original e7) and I preferred the cheaper e07k ($90).  So if you want a DAC, that's a good way to go without breaking the bank.  The step up would be my current favorite amp/dac, and that is the JDS Labs C5D @ $250.

Ok, that sounds very reasonable. Thanks a lot! Although I would really love a vamp verza, but my wallet is just too light for it hahaha. These will do smily_headphones1.gif

haha...the Verza is just the next step up.  Personally, I think the JDS Labs C5D is a more well rounded amp than the Verza (I really like the 3 stage bass setting)...and at half the price, it's a much better value proposition IMO.  I love the Verza, don't get me wrong, I just don't think it's worth the sticker price.  And it's also twice the size!

If you don't mind, can you do a pros and cons comparison of those two for me?

Didn't I just do that...kinda?  Pros for each:

C5D - $250, small size, three stage bass boost, compatible w/ android devices via OTG

Verza - more spacious sound with more accurate bass (with the boost off), build quality, compatible with iOS via MFI cable

If you want a DAC/AMP, you'll have to make sure it's MFI (Made For IOS) compatible. If it's just an AMP you're after, I'm not sure that analogue audio is possible through the LOD (Line Out Dock) from the Touch. Anyone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Worked just fine with my Fiio E11 with the following configuration:

Touch -> Adapter -> Fiio LOD cable -> E11

Not terribly ergonomic though.

Not sure what happened with my reply above, but to be clearer:

Cheapest one is the BeyerDynamic portable DAC/AMP, the A200p which retails for around 300.  Finding a portable DAC/AMP that is MFi compatible isn't the easiest task, they tend to be a bit pricy :/

The ones I know of- Sony PHA-1/PHA-2, Apogee One for IOS (I hear great things about this), JDS Labs, VModa Vamp, Fostex HP-P1, Furutech ADL X1. Also try doing a search in these forums for "MFI "
