Apparently my phone doesn't like ups, so replace "upstairs" with "ups" and everything makes a bit more sense.

I enjoyed upstairs.

The customs charges thing SUCKS, they way you describe it makes it sound like you only get charged $200 by luck of the draw! Is that true, or do they charge customs all the time, or did a terrorist used to live at your address so they inspect all your mail?

I know CAN$ is less than US$, but $200 is like the price of a speeding ticket in a greedy city. Seems like a big punishment for buying something from another country... but at least it's not like in Brazil, getting a PS4 there is like $1,200 in US$ (like 250,000 in their currency, it's in the Wikipedia article on the PS4).

I guess they'd rather you not give your money to the economy of another country... buy Canada doesn't make much stuff except some awesome music bands (and good XB LiVE friends).

I'm pretty sure I have the origin bill of sale somewhere at home, I have a look tomorrow when I get back. I think I posted it on this forum a while back, could be mistaken thought.

Found said post, looking back I was pretty ignorant of the ways of customs and shipping charges. Oh well lesson learned I suppose.

Including XL pads, custom shields, and next day shipping, it costed me $400 essentially. I'm shocked to see you had to pay another $100 considering you're also from Canada!

For ROW it's also USPS, unless you want UPS.

Im not sure if one of my years is worse than the other

but after a while of use I get the feeling that the left side is stronger than the other side

mainly because the oomph of the base feels like its originating from there without anything from the other side

anyone had something similar to this?

Yes mate. I particularly didn't like 1979!

Seriously, yes, I used to have a similar problem. I went to the doctor and got my ears "syringed". Balance is restored. YMMV.

I'd like to confirm this on my end. When I use the stock pads, I feel the bass push more air/vibrate around my ear on the left side. I tried switching wire input locations but it's the same. I tried switching pads around and it's the same, I tried sending it back to v-moda (they said there was a short in one of the earcups), and it's still the same. It's mainly around the sub-bass area. Do note it's not a night and day difference, but it the oomph is like a small tickle imbalance.
