My Xperia uses the Snapdragon 800. Still no way I can go back to the phone only after the E18 and M-100 combo! :)

I get dealer discounts. Not bragging but I can get some audioquest cables cheaper than radioshack ones ;)
That's the only reason I brought that up...

You know, when it was using the amp I was pretty confident that I didn't really need it. But now after extended listening with just the phone the compression is terrible. I need to fix my USB OTG cable issue. The Fiio cables are junk.

LOL I had the same with the Verza. It's a genuine worthy purchase. I'm still really close to snagging some LCD2's but... I don't even know. It's like the sound has become perfect.

Which Xperia phone do you have? How do you like it for sound? The specs for the Z2 look very impressive. My contract is almost over and my upgrade is available. It's down to the HTC One2(M8 released tomorrow),Galaxy S5(release next month),Sony Xperia Z2(also released next month). And Oppo is releasing a phone! I haven't read about it yet.

Update-Ok I just read that you have the Ultra. No that is shaolin95.

I'd have to win the lottery before I'd buy the Verza. That price is way out of my league.

Has anyone tried this with the HiFiman HM802?

Definitely not cheap, I bought the demo unit from a store so I got a significant discount. Not sure I'd have dropped full price on it but I can't imagine living without the thing.

No, but I would think it'd be fantabulous. The M100s don't need amplification or anything, but if you give it to them they definitely take it and sound better and better.

Wow, I thought I posted, but I guess it didn't get through. Well I just stopped by a RadioShack since it was on the way and, yup, I think they should work.

Thank you for taking the time to show me these. Been ordering stuff online so often I forgot about them. Went in and picked one up. It works great.

This only applies to Samsung phones as the Exynos processors are Samsung property (though they license and use ARM designs).

The Exynos (with the bigLITTLE config) uses a Wolfson where as the Snapdragon 800 uses Qualcomms own, if I remember correctly.

-I'm a nerd, so thisiskind of my territory lol. Hope it helps :beerchug:

Yeah, that helps. I expect the Wolfson will sound better. Damn.

I went to pick up the Radio Shack cable but couldnt pull the trigger...its just looks to damn thing for my liking so just ruins the looks of the headphone for me lol
I saw the Pipeline (AudioQuest) one but that plug wont go in unless I do some fat reduction there :)
Here is a link. I am almost tempted to buy it, expensive as it is, just because how it looks and how thick it is. Maybe I can slowly reduce the size until it fits in the plug port...

Wonder what's the "goal" with "XS". More refined M80? More fun?
