Quote:Mine? I need a dac more now though.
More importantly, is there ever going to be a fully sealed model because I am considering covering the vents on my m80 everytime I'm on the bus and cover the vents with my fingers.

They don't leak at all so far as I've noticed. You won't have a problem with them in the library.

I would say M80s leak a tiny bit but not enough to bother someone sitting near you in a quiet library. They do not isolate much though. Cups of the M80s are small enough to be worn comfortably around neck and would not cause much sweat.
For M100s though, I would like something different to justify another purchase in addition to M80s. Items I would looove to see are:
1) more isolation/smaller vent holes (would like some more isolation than M80s but retain natural soundstage);
2) flat-folding cups (easy to wear on neck, even with bigger drivers);
3) velour or fine leather pads (less sweat-inducing for circumaural design);
4) circumaural design and same sound signature / overall look
Amp requirement is not likely a deal-breaker for me. A decent portable amp like Fiio E11 can be had for $70, which is smaller/lighter than iPhone and can easily fit into my pocket to drive M100s.

Looking good. :) Val, something occurred to me. I know an amp will help the M-100 excel and reach their full potential... have you tested the M-100 out of any other daps such as the HM602/HM601HM801 without an amp?

AVICII, my close friend, just did this interview in Las Vegas Weekly, he was the first person in the world to beta test and use the LP2 live. Chuckie and I played with them too afterwards.
Deadmau5 at my HAU5 party we had at the V-MODA Fortress for VMAs (Deadmau5, Dirty Vegas and I played)

Very nice. I can't wait to get a pair and I'm really curious as to the new features. I have a few interesting speculations as to what it may be
And wow, I see that he has landed a couple of girls which I can say is attributed to the V-MODA's.

Damn, I would give almost anything to test drive the M-100's. I have a vast collection of music ranging from almost every genre (except country).I am already trying to imagine which song I should choose to play first when I do obtain them!!
post #209 of 146552/8/12 at 8:07pmSame, but I'm really interested in how it will do with mainly acoustic and electric guitars, J-pop, and electronic~
I feel that the M80s really shine in the J-pop and guitars/rock section, but somewhat less-so in the electronic.
I'm not saying they do bad at electronic, I just think that the first two do better because of the forward mids xD
A hybrid of the M80s and LP2s will be able to bring out the best in all of these generes, which would mean it might be the perfect headphone for me^^

Apparently the V of V-moda stands for Vampire, hence the True Blood affiliation. The V-Moda family has associations with vampiric occults across Europe and North America, having donated millions to their causes. Do we really want to support people with ties to demonic groups? Vampires kill people.
