Do these need extensive "burning-in"? Just received them yesterday and am wondering how much it may affect the sound.

I think mine improved after a few days of use - 50 hours may be. But it might just be me imagining things.

Mine didn't change much after a day, so generally a day or two should be enough.

From my experience, virtually zero burn-in.

I found that to be the other way around. Not only were they incredibly uncomfortable after 20 minutes of wear, but with the way they fit my ears, some outside noise actually seemed to sound amplified if you are in a place like a coffee shop.

The M-100's are marginally worse than the M-50's at isolation, I find

Could anyone suggest good headphones by Sennheiser in the $100-150 range? I have my eyes on the HD 518 and i listen to all kinds of metal, rock and rap.

Still no news on white XL pads? redface.gif I'd love to give the M-100's another shot, but I'll have to wait unless this changes..

You need to stop randomly posting on other product's trend.

Hi everyone,

today I got my M-100s together with the BoomPro Mic as an upgrade to my Crossfade LP2 and I just joined the forum (I've been reading here for some time) to ask you something:
The BoomPro Mic has only one cable (like smartphone headsets) but my PC has one headphone and one microphone out-/input (like normal PCs wink.gif ).

In the V-Moda store it was possible to buy a VoIP adapter (http://v-moda.com/voip-pc-mic-adapter/ ) but I've never seen it being available.

Do you know an alternative adapter with equal quality (available in Europe / international shipping to Germany)?
I found out that it has to be a 4-pin adapter - is this correct?

Thanks for your help! smily_headphones1.gif

Any spiltter from 3 ring to 2 ring plug will work.  Just search for VoIP adapters.

For VoIP adapters...would it work if we had a mic cable into the mic port, and a standard cable in for the audio?

So running two cables.

No because if you do that the pinout order will be off.

The BoomPro Mic should have a VoIP adapter included in the packaging.

So far, no problems with my new M-100's. No structural issues at this time and sounds pretty good. I've been messing around with the EQ on PowerAMP on my GS4, we'll see where that goes. If anybody has expertise or advice on setting a general EQ on the M -100's, please let me know.

:D

Thanks for that hint.

I checked the packaging again and at the bottom there was the little adapter. Probably it fell out of the BoomPro Mic box because customs opened my package and checked everything.
