V-MODA M-100: Discussion/Feedback, Reviews, Pics, etc. - Page 1069

Just a warning about this cable. I bought a different flat cable from the same seller and it doesn't fit into the M-100 jack. I know the designs are different, but by comparing pictures, it looks like the the rubber around the connector is about the same size. I think the Supra cable also looks too big.

I should have the NuForce cable coming in a week then I will know for sure.

Thanks for the warnings, and I'll be looking for your impressions on the NuForce.  In all seriousness, though, does Supra have a better way to funnel their products in the U.S. than their official distro, as they aren't carrying the regular MP (only the Biline version).

SpiderNhan, from my understanding, I believe the first flat cable link you provided, SHOULD fit the M-100's.

I've had a few cables to play with for the M-100's before, along with custom made ones. All of which did not fit; but from that, I now know how to find a cable that would fit (Not that I bother anymore), or note specifically, which jacks would fit.

SpiderNhan, the cable that you bought, COULD HAVE fit if the small base extension part of the jack (the small part under the gold-plated jack) was at least 5mm in length. Don't quote me on it, but it appears plausible.

To be honest, I'd figure its probably best we just use the V-Moda cables...they're fairly cheap and are built well. A fancy upgrade cable would only benefit one side of the M-100's anyways, since it only accepts one input.

I have contacted the customer support team, they will need to sell you the pads and they are not selling the 3 button cable anymore, this is their message to me

The same applies with the LP2, all older production models already have the 3 button packaged inside and the newer/recent production models will be substituted with the 1 button speak easy remote cable. Unfortunately, there was a legal issue with us using the 3 button remotes on our LP2 and M-80s so they were removed right away. If you need new earpads, they will be available for purchase.

Well, I'm mainly looking for a replacing for the LP, and V-MODA makes their audio-only cables too long for me to use outside.

Is there any cable that has volume control able to fit the M-100? I need one as I am using the M-100s for portable use and I wouldn't wanna set the volumes on my iPhones. It would be faster and easier if it was done through the remote

So I have tried the UE6000 for several times, Best COMFORT, DOESNT HOLD UP TO YOUR HEAD, it will make you feel like its gonna drop

M-100, everything's fine and good, just the comfort I am worried, although I have heard some paper towel mods before, does that help? and is val kolton gonna release the XL earpads? when would it be and must I pay for it?

I tried paper towels and what worked best for me was 1/4" rope under the pads all the way around.  Kept the ears from hitting the driver cover.  Still ended up trading them out because the pads still were not comfortable due to the hole diameter being too small.  Waiting for the XL pads was a thought but the sound wasn't the end all for me so traded them towards an Edition 8.  Worked out for me.  wink.gif

I had the same problem with my first pair. They come in a small plastic baggie and if you don't see them, then you didn't get them. Just email V-MODA.

Yep. Having a local retailer is a relief. I'm in Dubai and already in touch with them for my new custom shields..! Now I save the shipping costs..

Ooh, glad to see a Lightning interconnect cable for the Vamp Versa ;)  Only black and white, how about orange to match the matte M-100? :p  JK.

I got a pre-release M-100 back in September 2012 and it shipped without the V-Corks and also had a small crack in the wingplate. Since it was a pre-release there were no spare parts to fix my wingplates and no spare V-Corks to ship me so I waited until after the official release, which I think was in December 2012, and V-MODA shipped me a brand-new new pair.
