Scroll down to see it!

Are you talking about the memory cushions? They do say XL, no other details but if they're starting to show up in marketing that's a good sign.

VERY GOOD eye.

Not to mention he has also repeatedly said that he's doing it for us, but based on all his research he feels like he is putting a huge amount of time and money into a product that will barely get used.  It's funny how people feel entitled though, as if they paid for the headphones to be custom tailored.

It's also funny how people feel that their unscientific survey based on an internet forum means more about the true magnitude of this issue rather than the return percentages that only Val knows.

Anyway - I am not on this thread as often as I am just sitting back enjoying my headphones, but I do check in every week or two in order to see if the XL's are coming soon.  For me, if they don't change the sound signature I will like my M-100s that much more, if they alter it drastically I will keep the stock pads and still love my headphones.

So true, and... possible XL pads?

Absolutely true.  My ears are pretty used to the pads now (being a little too small to be true over ears), so it's not a big deal either way, but I'll probably pick up a pair of XLs just for fun to see how they work with them and if they are in fact more spacious under the pads so I can stuff my ears in.  LOL.

As for the resident troll's nicholar's claim to never come back to this thread...we can only hope.  50/50 as the ratio of people who hate the headphones for comfort is absolutely ridiculous.  Guess he/she hasn't read the 217 (and counting) reviews on amazon that AVERAGE 4.8 out of 5 stars.  Yeah, sure looks like half the people are unsatisfied with their headphones.  Yup, definitely.

I said about the comfort and also the FR response issues with the M-100 and got the V-moda brigade very upset about it. Ok if you like the headphones that is not a problem, but they do quite clearly have issues in the areas mentioned.

Anyone who mentions it then they get a reply saying "why are you making a fuss about it" etc. whereas something along the lines of  "I just got dem m-100 and dat bass is wickeds innit"  is met with a lot of back patting and friendly remarks.

Once again sir, it's not your content, it's the delivery.

If you compare this to something like a HD650 or beyerdynamic DT880 then they would be more like 98/02 that had comfort issues....

Therefore it is a problem, also the fact they are releasing XL pads shows that they have recognised this, which to be fair to V-moda is good, but they should have released them with XL pads in the first place... Do you see any HD650 XL pads?

Are you really comparing gigantic home cans to a mid-sized portable for comfort?  Seriously?

Why do I even bother? I am leaving this thread and never posting again. Goodbye.

Again, with the delivery.  It's like you are fishing for negative replies.  Wait...

Regarding your last sentence.  Please, just LEAVE THEN.  Otherwise, stop saying it all the damn time!

Well honestly the reviews on Amazon aren't necessarily representative of anything. V-MODA says on their Facebook page to leave a review on their Amazon page, which essentially boosts their ratings. Many of the reviews there are the generic, arbitrary "yeah V-MODA M-100 is awesome!" kind of stuff.

I think the release of the XL pads might upset nicolars even more since he'd have nothing to complain about anymore.

Was suppposed to get m-100s today. Found out that they shipped everything but the headphones. -_-

Looks like the XL pads are only available in black... Worried about how that will look on my white m100s...

With a 4.8 average, you're going to have a lot of M100 is awesome type stuff, sure.  But clearly it's not a 50/50 split on the well thought out and concise reviews, just paging through the last 3 or 4 pages worth.  It's still at least 90% positive.  So 50/50 is still laughable.

Wait who said 50/50? That's inSaiyan!

Alright chaps stop taunting nicholars. If he claims to be off the thread, so be it. Or there'll be more wrists to slap on.

Maybe it's redundant and unnecessary, but still it was fun to do, and keeps me actively participating.
