Hmm..you guys seem to be having a bit of trouble..all I did to my M-100's was stretch it for a mere 2 minutes and I got the shape I wanted..just by bending the band back.

How is the comfort level with those stretched that much? Will they still fit in the case stretched that much?

Good job.  Personally I don't have any comfort issue with mine, rather I am trying to come up with different ways for people to try.

The comfort level is better after the stretch. It may appear as though it is stretched really far, but honestly, it's not. I only did it to reduce the clamping force whilst still being able to maintain it from slipping off my head. I wouldn't say my head is all that big either, but all the stretching did for me was made my M-100's more enjoyable for a longer period of time, as opposed to the usual 3 hours or so, when it was stock. The stretch is reversible, so not much harm was done to the headphones.

As of it's fitment into the case, yes, it fits perfectly normal, as it should.

Thank you! I, too, do not exactly have any comfort issues that I cannot stand, it's just a slight tweak I'd thought I'd do to loosen up the headphones a bit and give my ears more air to breathe. I could live with the clamping, just could do better.

Would you imagine that the XL pads are sold separately, or if you can select them for free when you order from V-Moda? I might be interested in buying them again after they pads are released and reviewed.

I don't need the XL pads but I will get a pair just to try them for sure.  It has been a long time making, and I think Val have interntion to make it, along with other accessories, as a package deal with the M-100.  I am seriously hoping for some major development by Sept.

Hopefully before September, I'd like to try them in early August, but I doubt that'll happen.

They will definitely be available for sale separately. There was talk about current M-100 owners being able to receive the XL pads free with a minimum $20 purchase from the v-moda website. Not confirmed though. It would make sense for first-time buyers to be able to choose from the regular or XL pads when placing their order though.

People's ears not being able to fit inside the cups isn't going to be alleviated by these XL pads.  All the XL pads are designed to fix is the ears hitting the driver inside the cups which is why people are stuffing rope and paper towels underneath the foam.  The diameter isn't going to change from what I understand.  If they are "on ears" for you now, they are going to be the same w/ the XLs.

That was mostly my issue, but it was still not an entirely open fit. I would like to try them with the XL though.

Do you mean the XL are going to be deeper or bigger in circumference?
