V-MODA M-100: Discussion/Feedback, Reviews, Pics, etc. - Page 996

post #14926 of 22850

V-MODA is making their XL pads ya know?

And I can see Val responding that between their 186 reviews, 5-star overall from Amazon for the M-100, and the 1087 reviews, 4.5-star overall from Amazon for the LP, only _ _ (two-digit number) number of cases of discomfort have been reported. XD

I am sorry I do not care what you think, my opinion is that the ergonomics and comfort of these is VERY BAD. Any idiot can see that almost everyones ears is going to touch the mesh. Beats by dre have good reviews on amazon... Does not mean they are actually good though does it... Ah well at least the beats are not physically painful medieval torture devices... I am annoyed that I have wasted my time buying these now I have to return them due to extremely bad comfort... 3 years of ergonomic research my arse.

XL pads are great but they do not actually exist so it is not really an option.

Then we don't need to care about what YOU think, either.

Sorry for expressing my opinions on the headphones. It is just stupid how people get all offended when you say something negative about the headphones, if you come in and gush about them then that is fine but if you express a VERY VALID negative opinion suddenly everyone gets all upset about it. If you do not want to read both negative and positive points about your M-100 then do not visit the forums.

WOW DEM M-100 ARE THE BEST HEADPHONES I HAVE EVA ERD. WICKEDS SPARKLY TREBLES AND MONSTER BASS. DAMN THOSE LOOK LIKE SOMMIT OUT OF THE DARK KNIGHT INNIT, THEY IS WELL SLEEK AND DURABLE. BEST THINGS EVER.... (happy now?)

You say this, yet you straight up said you don't care what other people think. Please.

I do care what other people think it is just tedious when people cannot accept that these clearly are uncomfortable headphones which are not very well designed when it comes to comfort.... I mean even the person who is defending them is the one who posted about the "kitchen towel mod"... You should not need to choose between comfort and sound quality.

Durable = yes

look good = yes

Comfort = NO

Everyone says how they do the "kitchen towel mod" but this ruins the bass.... If you put enough kitchen towel in them to make your ears fit then the bass turns into a boomy mess.... The main thing about these headphones is supposed to be the good bass....

Don't be childish I just explained it. I'm leaving this thread now I am sick of arguing with people who are probably half my age and cannot accept constructive criticism. Goodbye.

Cool. lol i don't even have the headphones, i'm just here since i have money to spend and wanted to see other people's opinions on it. Then i see you, complaining and complaining about a problem that can be solved very easily: Return them. The topic has been discussed over and over again, the XL pads aren't released yet, so if you won't wait just return them. Drawing out your anger on a forum for audiophiles aren't going to magically improve the comfort. What do you think the 60-day test drive program is for, huh?

Just trying to inform other potential buyers that they will probably end up either having to return them or do a mod which messes up the sound quality to actually be able to wear them properly. Anyway I am going now I am bored bye.

Again, as i said before, the topic has been discussed like crazy. You're obviously not going to be the last one talking about it, but you are definitely not the first.

Good... Hopefully this will stop people wasting their time, money and effort buying and returning them until vmoda release some new pads or headphones which have more than about 1cm ear depth....

http://www.head-fi.org/t/656815/v-moda-m-100-comfortable-or-not

If you look at this thread.... A whopping 52% of people vote them as either owned but uncomfortable or returned because uncomfortable....

Just to let people know, do not buy these headphone until some new pads come out unless you have small holes in the side of your head with no actual ear.
