If you have a single 3.5 mm port that accepts both audio and voice outputs (TTRS 4-ring connection) then you can just plug the Boom Pro Mic into it. If not, you'll need to use the included 3.5 mm to audio and voice (VoIP) adaptor to plug in the voice and audio channels into 2 separate ports.

Boy I'm kind of glad I didn't end up getting the matte black M-100. It looks pretty cheesy in-person to me, almost like a D.I.Y. matte finished paint job to be completely honest...

Regarding earpads, the black ones feel much stiffer to me than the grey pads.

Ok so I'm now set on buying a pair of these, after lusting after them for a few months.

But now I can't decide between Matte and Shadow.  Any opinions?  Does either have any kind of problems, or does one look significantly better?

As indicated in my previous post, to me the matte black looks pretty tacky, and I much prefer the colour scheme of the shadow (or at least the shadow M-80) any day over it. That being said, you have to take in to account that the headband for shadow is made of a micro-suede material instead of pleather like on matte black.

I think the glossy parts and red accents on the shadow are more sleek and eye-catching if you're into that. The matte black is just all black, no gloss.

Yeah, I was kind of leaning towards the Shadow.  The other question is, what color to get for the extra shields...too many options lol

It all comes down to preference Kent.

I have the shadows and I love how they look, I especially like the fact that the cable is not bright orange. (I'm not sure if the cable for Matte is still bright orange, but I have no reason to suspect that it was changed, though the shadow was changed from deep red to black... so I dunno about that)

As for problems? Not really. I mean shadow is prone to finger prints, but that goes for any shiny surfaced headphone, no matter which you have.

The shadow has red accents and the matte doesn't. The shadow has brushed metal shields and the matte has matte shields...

The shadow headband is suede leather, while the matte black is traditional leather.

Personally I think both look pretty great. I'm liking the look of the shadows though and am very happy with my choice.

I have the Shadow V-80 and the small red accents on it are beautiful. The only problem I see with the Shadow is that the only custom shields that really match it are red shields. The ear cups are also glossy and are prone to fingerprints, but I usually put them on by holding the prongs.

The good thing about the black matte or white grey is that they should go well with more colors than the shadow.  I think the red accents on the shadow clashes with different colored shields.

You didn't hear improved soundstage, mids and low-end authority?

That not what I meant.  I was telling people that using the 4S or 5th Gen Touch sounded the same, but of course they will sound better with the VERZA.

I thought something was fishy about your comment.

Thanks.  Ok I'm set on the shadows, and red shields.  If you choose the custom engraving on their site, which pair do they engrave?  The stock shields or the red ones?

The red ones.

Well I think the Matte has enough "sparkle" for what it is. And the fact that you can match it with virtually any shield color or cable its a big plus.

I come from owning the white pearl M-80 and I really don't miss anything about it in regards to style and looks. Imho they made an awesome job on the Matte. And it still turn heads at the gym or when I'm out and about (not that I like that really)

But like its been said before, is all about preference. Doowutchyalike!

Ok still set on the Shadows, but does anyone know which shield color matches the accents on the Shadow color?  "Red" and "crimson red" are my 2 choices
