Maybe I read so fast I thought it was spiderman. That was the evident answer IMO. Probably may mind played tricks on my reading. :)

Transformers?  But again to have a chance to see the M-100, let alone MY red shield, on the silver screen is nice :).

That's what I thought! I thought the m80 was some what bass heavy, but I realized that it had more of a lean bass with more impact. The m100 has more of a punch but full bass. The m100 is far superior to the m80.

I see the bass decay threw you off as well.  Objectively speaking, the M80s have been shown to be more neutral than the M100.  Everything you stated about the M80 is true though, it's probably due to the slower decaying bass of the M80 over the M100 ;)

So those M-100s are tax deductible ;-)!!

So my SharePlay cable doesn't seem to work with my HTC One X.  It works with my iPod and my MacBook Pro.  After a little back and forth with V-MODA's customer service rep David, they offered to send me a new non-SharePlay cable.

I'm sure it's a problem with my phone but I'm extremely happy that they offered to send me a new cable so that I can keep it as a backup to the one button cable.  People always rave about the V-MODA customer service and I can say that it's not joke.  Most companies would probably just brush you aside and not pay attention to your problem.  V-MODA not only paid attention but offered a solution!!!

I am definitely a happy customer and I can't wait till things settle down before I get that VAMP VERZA to go with my M-100's!!!

Awesome! Doesn't V-MODA have the best customer service! David is the best! My bose qc15 cables started breaking, and their customer service did not replace them, they wanted me to pay $30, for cheap cables that are going to break again. Here honestly V-MODA is not responsible for incompatibility  but still they offered you a solution off their own cost!

Damn....I just made the mistake of listening to my M-100 and Touch 5G (for the first time) with the E11. Difference is quite big, specially when setting the bass in 1 and 2. Big wave of volume and bass making love to my brainnnn....LoL

The only thing is that i need a longer interconnect to set it up the way I want for on-the-go.

Now I feel like I cant go back to listening without the amp. Can only imagine what would be like using it with the E12 or the VERZA.....eek.gifeek.gifeek.gif

Did the sound quality of the 5G go down or something? Even with an Objective 2, the difference in sound between iPhone 4S -> M-100 and iPhone 4S -> FiiO L3 -> O2 -> M-100 is pretty minimal.

The iDevices' amps are pretty good, so an external amp shouldn't make that much of a difference, without any EQ's applied, for an easy-to-drive headphone like the M-100.

Is there a major difference between the fiio e17 and the C5, O2, or even the VAMP VERZA. Sorry if it sounds silly. Is the sound difference worth the price paid for the amps?

honestly, i dont feel much difference with the e7 via iphone4, But then again i usually listen to podcast. So to be honest i dont know what quality they stream at. But when i am allowed to download the podcast and listen to it via my music player. And which i use "Loudness EQ" I feel that it is better then without. It isnt Actually louder, just sound more rounded off to me. Mayb it's just my ears im not a genius @ this. I dont have any high quality files! But I do FEEL a major difference when i listen thru my laptop via USB. and i just use Bass boost1. And when i have to listen to youtube, I turn it up to 3. Just because they quality isnt so great anyways. So TURN UP THE BASS lol. Then again, i listen to EDM. Just IMO.

Actually the sound quality is not that big, -maybe- a bit better with the E11. But the difference in the amount of volume and bass IS huge. I'm really surprised how much bass the M-100 can take without any real distortion, despite some muddiness of course. Blows the COP out the water for sure imho.
