About 1 inch longer than the 1 button cable, and yes I measured it.  And yes, daisy chaining the two cables should be fine.

thank you very much, its not a huge deal if daisy chaining em works fine.I'm used my ad700's cable which is TOO LONG lol. I've noticed all my music sounds better in every aspect, aside from vocals which are about the same but I  had to take off the preset "dance" eq I had with my titanium hd, something about them was creating a pretty harsh sharp sound, but without it they sound great. I love the bass presence, although I'm sure its not much compared to true basshead cans its great for me coming from ad700's.

How do the m100 compare to the Mad Dogs?

XD

Another Head-Fier friend is here and the M-100's pads are nearly on-ear for him; not too comfy he says.

I like the M100s a lot (with the C5). They have good soundstage and a solid bass. The K701s that I'm listening to now with the E7 is good too. I'm enjoying the range that they are throwing out. I like the M100s better. However, comfort wise, the K701s are a lot more comfortable and I feel like I could wear them for hours at end, which isn't the case for the M100s. Those I could probably listen to for an hour before my ears get sore from the padding. I've been typing in and out while stopping to get new songs played.

They are the types I would bring for road trips.

Person B:

Lol, they're pretty wubby down low. It's a good on the go sound though.
Hmm, treble is a bit low

No need for the C5's bass boost that's for sure

Meh, I'd rather have IEMs tbh, at least for me, considering the M100s don't isolate well on my ears

The headband is nice and comfy on these though

Mad Dog + Alpha Pads vs M-100.

  • M-100's are definitely more sensitive.
  • Mad Dog hands down wins for comfort
  • Female vocals on the M-100 sound a little more intimate but the Mad Dog's sound more realistic
  • It's hard to describe, but the mids of the M-100 generally sound a little more metallic compared to Mad Dogs
  • Mad Dogs definitely have the edge for soundstage and imaging, they're much more spacious-sounding than the M-100
  • M-100 has more sparkle in the treble but not-as-good extension; Mad Dog's is more reserved with the sparkle but it sounds cleaner, less peaky/more smooth, and better extension
  • Mad Dog's in one word: smooth; M-100's in one word: fun

Gold custom shields alone is $50.

BoomPro Mic plus a cable is over $50.

M-100 plus VERZA is definitely over $50 atsmile.gif

Yea, I ordered it alone, but for 5 bucks, its a steal! Protecting my hearing while looking good :D I hate when I go to concerts or loud events since I feel every time I go I feel I have to increase the vol. of my headphones.

No idea, but the engraved version cost the same so it didn't matter to me.

I have talked to the engraving guy over at V-MODA. The reason is that it is harder to engrave the Gold. It takes more time and also most of the times it takes many redos (so many messed up shields). So it it generally more expensive to get the Gold since they are loosing money engraving so they increased the price.
