Cable loose in my AKG k240 mkII

Hello, I'm having an issue with my AKG k240 mkII, the left speaker will come off and on. It's caused by the back connection cable, the back cables running across the top of the headband, the connection is loose. After thinking about it, I realized it was caused from a slight shift I would do when talking on skype. Since I use my laptop as a skype machine at the moment because, to be honest, I was just procrastinating on getting a mic since my laptop was working for me. But with that when I was on skype I would shift my right speaker off my ear, so my headphone would sit twisted on my head and shifting the back cable to an odd position. Now on to the actual point. From what I understand, AKG's are notorious for being rather difficult to work on. And what I need to do is open up the left speaker to, I assume, readjust the position of the cable. So i was curious if anyone has had this problem before and if anyone had any suggestions on how I should go about it.

Thanks for your time,

Reese

Oh I should also say, I can get the left speaker to work if I fiddle with the back cable, mainly by just squeezing it together and releasing it to realign it, temporarily.
