I have been a long time lurker ...Have not had a half way decent set of headphones in awhile (few year back someone broke into locker at work and stole my portable set-up ) but had the bug for awhile now and looking on her and reading articles feuled my need for decent headphones.. I did not want to spend a ton i have a few other hobbies are pricey as well for me . always loved sennheiser had several pair of there headphones .. so was looking for a set of hd 580 to 650 at right price found nice set of hd580 at great price on ebay already had hd600 grills on them and came with hd650 cables though i opted to have a custom cable made that was just 4 feet and terminated to 3.5 plug since my primairy use for these in at school on my hour or so breaks between class use Fiio E11 amp which works very well on them did not just want them to look quite like everyone headphone's so added my own person touches 3m Doc-Ni Leather on headband and just to the side of driver grills with a little metal cobra decal could not get to show up in pic's (camera's macro function was no happy today) and sliver car pinstripe on edge of headband just because .. not for everyone but my style and something different i think came out nice and look much better in person than in pic's ..... but now i am kinda dying to have the Sennheiser HD700 or Shure SRH1840 here i go again with headphone bug ! .. enough talkie on with the pic's ...
