I let My Daughter listen to My Cans...Now She won't give Em Back!

She always buys those Cheapie $7 Earbuds and listens to Music on Her Laptop.

Well Last Friday night the cord Broke (Again)...They only last about 3-4 Monthes.

She came in Downstairs and Asked me if I could fix them for Her.

Me not Really feeling up to it.

(Aye, it was a hard day at the Garage and I had a few) LOL!

So I went in the den, came back out and gave Her My MDR-XB1000's to use for a min...Yeah I know, their kinda Huge.

She's not a Picky Child and told me "Yeah these'll work.

A coupla hours later I seen Her in the kitchen gettin some Pepsi.

She was like "OH MY GAWD, DAD, WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME ABOUT THOSE!

I told Her that I didn't know She liked Her music REAL.

hahahahaha...She was like "I CAN HEAR EVERYTHING IN THE CD"

She looks Really Stupid with Her little Head and Those Big Ol Cans...But She's Jammin her behind off.

Well its Monday and it don't look like Shes planning on buying any Earbuds.

Her Birthday is coming up Next month.

And Dad Has a Pretty Good Idea What to get Her Now.

LOL.

Same thing happened with my wife. She started out with a sony walkman mp3 player and some Panasonic clip-ons. She heard my Cowon J3 and some westone 4R's...Now she has a Cowon and some ultimate ears UE350's.

My wife stole my HD 598s and won't give them back, I'm just glad she hasn't fallen for my D7000s or there'd be war. wink.gif

Yup, Girlfriend got a good listen to the V4 magnums in limba tonight. I'm going to throw together some sr80i's for her .. but, to quote her "I want these (magnums around her neck)"

 

to quote myself, "NO"

My son is the opposite.  I can't get him to upgrade his phones, no matter how much I offer.  Crappy Skully Candy cans and ear buds for him still...

When I was with my last ex, she would steal my DT880/32 for her own use... lol, I should've just let her keep those instead of her stupid Siberias...

well my ex has my Dunu tridents, my friend has my PX100 my mum has my Denon AH-C260 and my stepdad has a pair of panasonic RP-HTX7 so i have helped a few people to get better sound.
