For sale is a rare set of Sony MDR CD3000 closed headphones. 

 

They come with their original outer cardboard box as well as the original case and 1/4 to 1/8 adapter. Even has the original Sony cable tie.

The ear pads have recently been replaced with brand new Sony OEM pads and have barely seen any use at all since.

 

The head assembly shows minor signs of the usual flaky vinyl common to these phones and vintage. The picture shows it clearly and it looks a lot worse than it does in practise. 

 

These are all-time great Sony headphones with the famed Biocellulose drivers and a superb sound.

I am looking for $400 & your choice of shipping.

I may be interested in a trade towards a WOO AUDIO 3 amplifier or a purple PICO Slim. ALO Continental V2, Algorythm Solo, Beyerdynamic DT1350 or Sennheiser HD25-1 II are a possibility.
