Full sized cans suitable for iPod Nano 6G?

I'm looking for a pair of cans to use on a iPod Nano 6G (Yeah I know not Wolfson but Cirrus amped) that I can get away with not having a seperate amp. I have hearing aids so would prefer something that sits over the ears. I will also be using them for my laptop. Generally I like club/electronic dance music but I also listen to some rock, classical and everything in between. I would prefer closed back but if I can get an open soundstage it would be great. A straight cord would also be preferred and 2.5 to 3.5 not the other way around. Everything else is open to suggestion but comfort a decent 'fun' sound. Good bass and top end is essential but not 'boomy' in the bottom end. I am not a massive sub bass fan but I do like the odd dubstep track so it needs to be able to handle those.

My current headphones are Senn PX100's (Original), Koss Porta Pro's and Senn CX300's so should give you and idea of the sound I like. I do find the PX100's a bit too bass heavy on the Nano 6G however and set it to the piano EQ to brighen the mids and highs and pull the bass kick back somewhat.

Hope you can help.

Oh and budget of less than £85 but am open to a bit of movement upwards (preferably downwards obviously).

Cheers!

How about the JVC HAM750? In the US it is $45 on Amazon. It is closed, circumaural, and very efficient(32 ohms, 115 db/mw).

Hmm. Amazon reviews seem to indicate a low comfort factor with them being somewhat tight on the head. Comfort and sound quality are my main concerns.

Superlux 668B. Plug the nano direct, no wire hassle at all.  I listen to it very comfortably in the 30-60% volume range
