Won't those be too bright? :P Generally speaking a darker IEM will suite the Hisound products very well. The FX700s & Studio V was a marriage made in hell. Way too much detail & too bright. The detail forced itself on you. So instead of listening for that detail it was just attacking you lol ;).

Just wondering if anyone has compared the heir 8a to the fitear togo 334 with the dx-100, if so which do you think offers the best synergy?

I'm looking into getting the 8As myself. :). If it indeed has the sound signatures of LCD2, HE500 and Lawton Denon 5000 I think that should be amazing on the DX100. Plus I want a custom IEM as well for the isolation factor.

Why not keep your eyes pealed on the Tralucent 1Plus2 thread? I got to demo the Fit Ear 334 and don't feel it is better than the 1Plus2s. That is also the older model of the 1Plus2. They are releasing a newer more improved model that is supposedly even more detailed/resolving than the HD800 :).

There is a tour with various headfiers including myself so impressions should start to trickle in. The 2 demo units are being made now and should be shipped out sometime next week. However I still intend on at least trying out the Heir 8A's I've send a message to Dr. Moulton but he has yet to answer my PM.

Would it be the first? lol Hasn't the SE5 done that already :P. At least this is what I've gathered from owners of both gear. I've also heard really good comments regarding the NT6 in comparison to the SE5. Now if the new 1Plus2 can hit on the level of those 2 IEMs that will be something.

lol we'll have to see. As long as it can stack up to my 1Plus2s while at the same time offering something different with good isolation I think I will be happy. There was one person who really made me worried about this purchase but I am wondering if he had a good fit. As most seem to be quite the opposite from his opinion. Plus he got them reshelled form a different company. I'd be quite wary about doing this as I honestly didn't get good results with my TF10s being reshelled. They sounded worse than the original TF10s. I have a feeling the actual makers of the IEMs will set the IEMs and tune them to their own specifications (meaning the intended sound).
