Why can i buy the he400 or he500 because cris wrote me... you must be saying i could accord to buy those headphones instead of spending the extra money on the hm901 and buy the dx100.I see your point how much better can the sound get for the money at this point. I am thinking it could be a few month before anyone sees the HM901 in the US anyway. I heard that you could buy more amps for the HM901 is it a gimmick or do would they make it sound that much better.I just do not want to waste my money if its so close but i will take your word for it that the dx100 is a good value.

I think the difference is in the transfer speed that's about it. So honestly you are better off getting the Class 10 since it is faster and cheaper. Sandisk is the best cards period. They have the highest reliability and quality out there. After all they are the original makers of the card so I'd hope this would be the case.

You can't go wrong with the DX100 my friend. It sound amazing alone and you can make it better through its LO with a portable amp if you want to :). I use the T1 with it and together that is my reference sound. I just am so happy with it and can't fault it at all. Since 1.2.7 I am not even thinking about getting the 901 anymore. Plus Fang has shown utter disregard for headfiers here who have been drooling over the product for a long time. If he would at least have shown humility and communicated with us like Feiao does then he'd have much more support. I think I'll be supporting Feiao though on the X3. It looks quite nice as well. Should be fun :).

Just want to say that it is impossible that the product is perfect at the beginning, that's why we need patches and fixes and customer services. Most DX100 owners admit that the DX100 is not perfect, there are still bugs even in the latest 1.2.7 firmware. Nevertheless, ibasso is able to listen to their customers and fix those bugs asap. They even try to release their API to 3rd party software developers to mod their apps so that they could be run on the DX100 smoothly (I hope). All in all, I think ibasso is doing a good job on improving the DX100 into a great product. So I will still use the DX100 as my main portable (am still looking for a lightweight DAP for workout tho, still using my old S9 for that purpose... )
