HER......
I don't know how to do it....will look it up later. I am a HE
My DX100 was supposed to ship yesterday, but I haven't received a tracking number from Ibasso yet. I'm not gonna email them and ask for it because 1) I have actually read this entire thread. I know the shipping notices often go out 1-2 days after the DX100 actuall shipping. 2) I don't want to nag them. But must importantly... 3) I would end up like this - again:
I actually got two emails for tracking different packages; one was wrong the other came only a day or so before delivery. The first tracking info was just sitting there without any updates for several days then I got the second one and the package was half way to me based on the tracking info of that number, go figure.
Is anyone willing to answer my previous question?
I'd not sure whether I should drain out the battery for the first charge though iBasso really did it..
Its good to cycle the battery down a few times to condition it. I discharged it to about 15 percent initially then fully charged it back up. Then I completely drained it completely. I'd at least drain it a few times with this cycle. But once you've conditioned the battery its better to not fully drain it on a regular basis. But more so once a month. You can do it a bit more but don't do it all the time as it will wear out the battery faster.
It's already been discussed several times in this thread.
Not anything special but my battery level indicator finally hits 100%!
It had been stuck at 99% for a few days.
How many cycles have you discharged it? Mine never gave me issues though with 100% charge. So funny how everyone's units have their own clunky personality ;).
Edit: OMG these FX700 and DX100 are really starting to open up. I was even thinking of selling the FX700s. I don't think so now. You guys gotta listen to Queen of the Damned soundtrack in lossless... Looks like my pockets not gonna be happy.
I ran out of battery twice while I was out.
It has been connected to the wall plug whenever I am at home.
My wifi is working perfectly fine and poweramp is not giving me any issue at all.
Only complain is that I have yet to find a case for it.
So are you happy with it? You generally seem like the type who's really hard to please on the DAP front. If you are pleased then we all know the DX100 is da bomb :). It continues to amaze me at this point. I think I'm at the 40+ hour mark with burn in. But if this is my original unit its closer to 140+ hours.

I am ok with it. On my ES5 the sound is good. Not those euphoric sound that makes me want to listen to it all day long but decent and pleasant, the type that gets the job done without getting in the way.
On the W3000anv it is an epic fail.
Am still running it in. It may have around 30+ hours on it. Will wait till 200hours and see how it goes.
It has been sitting on the table for burn-in for the past 3 days while I only listen to my desktop rig whenever I am free.
I can see it only getting better and more revealing. The treble seems to be smoothing out as time goes on. The Studio V has more noticeable treble emphasis now. Before it was the other way around.
It is not the treble that bugs me though. It is the lack of sparkly highs, air and soundstage that bugs me. I assume that a super airy and bright iem with a large soundstage might help.
This is why i love my mac, i just input the tracking number to a widget and hit the dashboard button whenever i wanna check the status and it displays its current location and the estimated date of arrival if the tracking number has that information available
