Anybody know where to find the MAC address? I looked in network settings and I look under "Ethernet Settings", but when I select "MAC address" it does nothing?

I need the MAC to allow it to connect to my wireless router. I have MAC security, plus WEP and such enabled on my network.

I would suggest you temporarily disable security on your wifi network, connect your dx and get the mac from your router. The you can set it up and enable security again.

Fwiw wep + mac filtering does not equal security. Unless you have client's which don't support wpa, save yourself some pain and forget wep and Mac and change to wpa or wpa2.

Depends upon the shipping. iBasso does a very fast turnaround. I once used US priority mail, very slow to get there. I have used US expedited mail and it worked great. Turn around about one week.

have you tried the single channel router setup?

Yeah...tried everything on my router, tried every single firmware...it's no good.

If they can't fix it, they replace the unit. The person at Customer Service said that yesterday...so I guess we'll see what happens.

I've been using my 6th gen iPod classic + Fiio e17 with several different IEMs over the past couple of years. Now that I have started using my K3003's Ive been looking to upgrade to a better amp/dac. I wouldn't mind distancing myself from my iPod as it has some wear and tear and has started to show signs that the battery can no longer hold its full charge.

Should I cut my losses and jump into the DX100 or focus my attention elsewhere?

DX100, yup. And you might be pleasantly surprised of what it will bring out of your HD800's, for a portable device.

The transparency of the DX100 is hard to beat.

I'm enjoying the DX100 with some particularly splendid CIEMs and it's just a pleasure, no matter what music I throw at it. etysmile.gif

Looking for a portable amp to pair with the dx100. Am currently using the 8A and have shortlisted the RSA Intruder and ALO Mk3b. Any suggestion? Thanks in advance
post #11729 of 12660

I'm using the ALO Continental v3. I really like what I hear with the DX100 using my Westone ES5's.

CAN ANYONE PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO GET THE WIFI TO WORK RIGHT ON MY DX100!!!!!!! IT DOES NOT WORK MORE THAN A FEW SECONDS AND I CAN NOT DOWNLOAD POWERAMP ON TO IT TO GET THE BEST SOUND QUAILTY. FORGIVE ME FOR MY CAPLOCKS BUT ITS FRUSTRATING THAT IT NEVER PICKS UP WIFI RIGHT SINCE I GOT IT. Is there away to get poweramp onto the dx100 without wifi because i do not mind the wifi not be great because i would only need it for poweramp and no other apps really.
