Did you give it a lot of time to load?

Yes enough time. I had 2 media scanning in one minute and then nothing. It's impossible to have access to artists, albums etc. I can see the 2 directories (internal memory and sd card) which are correctly displayed but when i click on a song to play it nothing appears

Enough time? You'll need at least half an hour, if not more, when adding 30 gigs.

I was going to say, one minute isn't enough. Best is to check Running services in Settings > Applications. Only when Media will have disappeared from the list will the DX100 be ready for playback.

Yes, for the first time when the new music is added. One minute is nothing. You will know as the DX will show a song ready to play.

I have 3 64gb cards. I load them put them in and forget the DX for a while then after that when I turn it on each time it is ready to go.

Yeah you normally want to clear the media storage app and the music app. Then restart the player and leave it alone until it finishes indexing. You will know when this is done by accessing the running processes. Once the media storage process disappears your library update has finished and the player is ready to go. Mind would normally take about 15 to 20 minutes with about 80 GBS of Flac music.

All my tag are done the same way by Jriver Media center so do think that is what caused it. When I changed to 24/96 with same tags it worked.

Strange because I have Anita Bakers Album from HD Tracks in 24/192. I did redo the tags using mp3tag and had no playback issues? I have had playback issues before with certain tracks and usually erasing and redoing the tags fixed the issues. Sometimes that entailed blowing the file back up to WAV and then going back to Flac (sometimes there's issues in the encoding process as well and re-encoding fixes it). An example is one of my Expose' albums in Flac. On the DX100 it would take a long time to start playing the tracks. I'd have to wait like 25 seconds before it would play each file. So I basically expanded them back up to WAV and re-encoded to Flac and that solved it :).

I'm not sure if you still have the original file in 24/192? But if you can try give this a shot. Expand that 24/192 file back to WAV and then encode it to Flac in 24/192 and see if that fixes it. It may also be a good idea to not use a high level of compression on the Flac codec. 0 compression may be the best bet. I normally use Foobar with Flac Frontend to do the conversions and mp3tag for all the tagging.

The only thing I want to point out is the voltage of the battery in dx100 and r10. The voltage of the battery in dx100 is 8.4, and you can check that on ibasso main web page. the voltage of the battery in r10 is much lower than that of dx100, although I do not how that may affect the sound quality of these two music players.

After a wait of more than 10 hours my library isn't updated and still inaccessible... In running services Media is still running.

What does fixing the tags mean ?

Will the factory reset delete all my songs ?
