When I ordered the DX100, my $50 USB sound card flew right past customs...

same here and I am in  London. Think I paid  under £5 in duties for the DX100

Can't say the same for my 8As which customs charged a huge amount for (20% of full cost of the order).

They are worth it though

Hmm, interesting, is that something you have to arrange with ibasso or do they just ship them like that automatically?

Just discovered another issue which seems to have tipped the balance, as my work has blocked spotify access! aggravating to say the least, I was thinking of just streaming through my work laptop but seems that one wont be possible.

I have gone to the page (the link needs to be corrected) but can't find where to purchase the adapter. Great info!

The link works if you cut and paste the URL into your browser: http://www.ameri-rack.com/APA-TFC1m.html

Weird that it doesn't work when you click on it from here (didn't work for me either, but the  URL isexactly the same).  If cutting and pasting doesn't work, got to www.ameri-rack.com, click on "Products" (at the top), then click on "Fan, Cable / Adapter" (left side).  The APA-TFC1 adapter is the third item down from the top.

I was able to get there (the link has a period in it, which is why the original one didn't work) but I can't find the purchase page. Do you have to contact them first with what you want?

Me neither...at least not easily.

I am working to reliably reproduce the problem.  Once I can do that I was going to contact iBasso for suggestions.  I'm calmed down about it as it appears mine isn't "broken"...its just a potential design issue with all of them.

well, it is pretty easy for me to reproduce~~~~ just use any IEM that has small connectors, and put it into a pocket made of cloth~~~
walking in winter for about 10 second on any Toronto street, you will have it~~~~~

Well, that's what I had...using an IEM and the DX100 was in a cloth case on my belt.

Maybe the winter here in HK is not as cold as that in Toronto (lowest temperature last year was around 6-7C in street), so I don't get any problem on my dx100, living happily with it now after fw 1.3.7

Well, the DX100 obviously has some , let's call them "idiosyncrasies", shall we?

But the guys over in the AK100 thread just found out their player won't support gapless playback.

I guess the point is, things could be worse...

It's been really cold here in Kansas also, and I've never had any issues with 1.3.7 either.  But then, I don't go out in the cold with my expensive audio gear too often either...

Just got my DX100 back from Ibasso, now with working wifi!

Nope, I don't ever use wifi, I just wanted it fixed while it was still under warranty.
