Hello, I've been searching for a while now for a pair of headphones or IEMs for portable use around school and out in public. I listen to mainly House, Electro, Dubstep and other types of EDM and some mainstream music. I currently have pair of Sony XB500s, and they have great bass, but just aren't that portable and other than bass, aren't very good. I would love to have a nice punchy bass. I've owned the M50S, but returned them because they seemed to be lacking bass quantity. I've been looking at the Sennheiser HD25-1 ii, V-MODA M-80, and AiAiAi TMA-1, and for IEMs, I don't really know. I would prefer headphones. If they are over ear, they should be pretty portable, but I'd rather have on ear. Also, the lower the price, the better.
Also considering the Ultrasone HFI-580s @ $118, but how do they compare to my others listed and also how portable are they?
