iPhone > LOD > RSA Shadow > SE535

My setup in a couple of months hopefully! <3

Sound could be a little too dark for some but then again I like it so.

Does anyone using an iPhone as a source thru an amp get that annoying 'diddley dit dit diddley dit ' interference and is there a way to stop it?

that is from RF interfernance. your amp and cables past the iphone are not RF protected well. sucks. most don't have this problem. it might be your amp or any cable past that that is picking up radio interferance.

This is probably due to ur use with iphone which is receing signals a lot even when the screen is not on. You cant blame the amp. U r litteraly point blank (audio distance speakingly) from a smartphone that masslynreceives data from a plethora of wireless bands.

how would you characterize the pico with the 535s? neutral? colored? and if so how?

Exactly the problem To solve this when you are listening to music put your iphone into plane mode and that should solve the issue.

If you are looking for a good amp that offers great value and performance the UHA4 would be the answer. Its an arrow killer (arrows cost $300.00+) while this amp is around $200.00. It has low output impedance so it works wonders with Sensitive IEMs (black background on low gain). It has cross-feed and a digital potentiometer so no channel imbalance at low volume listening. Check out Leckerton audio. He has great customer service and sells top notch quality products IMO.

The sound signature is quite neural with a hint of warmth. It does add extra clarity to the mid range.
