Oh, no, I get that, but I don't get the root cause: I'm a relatively cheerful and optimistic guy, so why do I have such a strong fascination with the discordant or the disruptive? It must point to some deep seated ambivalence I have. I usually tell friends I have a fascination with sublimated violence, but I would never hurt a fly :P

Perhaps you're so overly positive that you feel the need to feed the negative side of you as well?

Kind of like the bully boss who goes to a dominatrix after work hours..

Hey, don't blame me for making the analogy - you're the one who wanted to crack a whip when MuppetFace had some work to do!

I think that makes me more comparable to the dominatrix than the boss. ^__^

I was doing hard time on Monster Island manufacturing Beats Solo's. My crime, I went on the internet and said Monster headphones suck. Dr Dre heard and sent Snoop Dogg to arrest me. He chased me down in one of his ghetto rapster wagons and bought me into Monster custody. I was then tried my Eminem in kangaroo court with a jury of rich white suburban kids who were Beats fanatics. The court proceedings went terribly wrong for me when I called Eminem a skinny weiner white boy who reminded me of a Beastie Boys wanna be. I then turned to the jury of Beataolics and screamed they looked dumb wearing their Beats headphones and they looked like a bunch of posers. I was then immediately sentenced to life in prison on Monster Island and denied contact with audio brands such as Audio Techniqua, Beyerdynamic etc. The only entertainment available to me during my internment was listening to music on B stock Beats Studios which was really nothing more then torture. Luckily the island was invaded by Lord Sennheiser and I escaped during the confusion of battle and using the plastic casings of Beats headphones I fashioned a make shift raft and sailed back to the mainland. Thanks to Sony I now live in protective custody away from the evil Monster Empire.

I would speak to you of cool breezes. 

Sometimes, on a warm day, a cool breeze will come along. It just happens. Or it doesn't happen. There is no schedule for it, no specific reason, nothing I can do to cause it. It feels awfully nice when it does happen. I don't deserve it, or not deserve it. I can't earn it.
