Last time I went to Pizza Hut I got food poisoning and spent a few hours in bed hallucinating with a cold sweat; I thought I was in Flatland and was desperately trying to make the residents aware of cubes only I could see by tapping coordinates in binary code.

I threw up all the food, but the trip was worthwhile for that story, I guess.  I probably live in the best city in the country to get a pizza, so I still have no idea why my friends wanted to go to Pizza Hut.

I was wondering if I should have said that...

Good thing there aren't any New Yorkers in this thread to get mad at you.  Deep dish FTW!

Ever been to Pizzeria Uno/Due's?

I was a regular at the Uno's in Denver for 2 years (once or twice a week).  They morphed it from primarily a pizza place to more a sit down grill and pub.  Their pizza is delicious, especially the crust.  Thick but still a little bit crunchy, and slightly sweet.

I never really get the chance.  I don't head in to the city that much.

That's a shame.  I don't think I've had a better pizza to date.  Edwardo's and Giordano's, while good, feel like poor man's equivalents.

I think Samsung SIII will be replacing my Note. Just got confirmation that it will be using a Wolfson chip.

All this food talk is making me hungry. My favorite fast food place is A&W, I love their grandpa burgers. Thick juicy slight salty taste and really really unhealthy.

So I was looking at the custom V Moda shields and it looks like they actually can do some pretty complicated designs.

Including enough resolution to do shading and crosshatching.

Haha yes that sounds like an awesome story. What exactly is Flatland?

One time I ran a high fever and was hallucinating in bed. Everything felt extreeeeeeemmmmmeeeelllly sloooooowwwww and it was bizarre talking to people because all the words were like treacle. I had a pillow with some patterns on the fabric, and I began to feel as if I could feel those patterns on the underside of the pillow with my fingers, and they stretched out to infinity in my mind.

Good times.

Did you read this hands on preview of it?

It's one of the funniest pieces of technology writing I've ever read. A quote:

Disappointingly, for all its sensor prowess, the phone doesn't come with a stylus. Samsung's advertising for the Galaxy Note has me convinced that "life needs more than texts and smiley-faces;" a stylus (with a proper digitizer, for accurate drawing) is clearly something we should be demanding from our handset manufacturers. Alas, the Galaxy S III has none. Samsung will sell the C Pen, a capacitive stylus, but it doesn't come with the phone, nor is there a garage/holster in the phone to store the stylus. It's almost as if the Galaxy Note advertisement were lying, and that in actual fact, humans can cope just fine with texts and smiley-faces.
