Yeah. It's nuts.

Seriously though, if gender neutrality is the objective for the bronies, then use a gender neutral term.

I thought the feminine of "brony" was "pony".

I thought the term for female MLP fans was "fillies" or "filly."

Calling a female a "brony" makes no sense to me.

Agreed.  The term brony originated from non-traditional fans of the show, specifically adult males.  Using the term to describe females kinda breaks the whole timeline, IMO.

Brainstorm!

Brother + Pony = Brony

Sister + Pony = Sony

Do you still have that Sony fetish MF?  evil_smiley.gif

I still don't get that "My Little Pony" obsession... don't know... are all those guys pedophiles or something?!?! LOL

(that's the only thing that comes to my mind when seeing grown guys 'worshiping' that show... ;-)

and BTW, I downloaded a couple of episodes to see what the fuzz was all about... meeeeh... nothing special to me...

unless... they watch this show high as hell... will have to try that....

Wouldn't adult females be only slightly less non-traditional than adult males?

Well, we're in a state in Sweden where a big part of the population are willing to change 'he' and 'she'/'him' and 'her' to a gender neutral word: 'hen'. In Finland we already have a gender neutral word for it: 'hän'. I am of course supporting such a change in our language. Two terms become one.

I don't know if I can have an interesting opinion about MLP, however, I do think that striving for gender neutrality is a good thing.

Well, I think we all have to be somewhat open to the idea of grown-ups childrens shows. I mean, there are grown-ups who like to play with model trains, R/C cars and such toys. In its essence, watching a childrens show shouldn't be any different.

I actually enjoy it, but wouldn't consider myself a "Brony".  I mainly like it because it reminds me of Powerpuff Girls, which Lauren Faust was also involved in.

The chassis looks really similar to the very expensive Vaio Z, if not the same, just sans carbon fiber and the other cool trinkets they put in the Z.
