But I thought the books were written for the very same demographic?

I'm having a hard time making sense of that (probable) machine translation but I'll take your word for it.

Thanks.

That would be me, and a_recording. I had the list (yes, google docs), and a_recording has the dystonian website. I recommend you to take a look at his site, it's very well done!

I hope it works. Let me know if you want me to share it with you, so that you can have it on your google docs account! Although, I have to warn you that not all movies on that list are dystopian.

Seems some "Team Diary" members still have a pretty fixed idea of what music_4321 is like:

It was an index of k3003 reviews and impressions until music got angry about purrin's review and deleted all his posts.

You're quite wrong. Again.

FYI, I did not get angry. Although purrin did have something to do in my decision to delete my posts, he probably only played 5% in my decision, ie none of his posts would have made me delete any of my posts -- not a single one.

Don't you delete all of your posts after some time as a matter of course?

No.

I believe he explained once that he has his own personal reasons for deleting his posts, and the way I understood it by the way he described it, is that he has his own personal reasons for doing so and if he wanted us to know more, he'd let us know.

However, the way I have understood his K3003 thread is that he wanted to make a distinction between having a thread mainly focused on impressions and reviews, and a discussion thread about those IEMs. I can imagine there being several reasons for doing so, but perhaps mainly to avoid hype, FOTM or off-topic chit-chatting. Reviews and impressions are one thing, but when you look at other IEMs "impressions threads" it's probably 5% impressions, 5% reviews and the rest is just chit-chatting as in 'new toy syndrome', hyperbole, trolls bashing, people spending enormous amounts of posts describing how long they have to wait for their headphones to arrive, what they'll do in the meantime, and so on and so forth. Basically a whole lot of off-topic chatting.

The frequency response looks quite ok here: http://sonove.angry.jp/ortofoneq7.html, although I would prefer it to be smoother on the treble.

I have the Grado GR10's, which use the same drivers.  They can be quite sibilant at times, but sound pretty good otherwise.  They have loads of detail.  Their instrument separation is also quite nice, but their soundstage isn't always the most coherent.

Thanks!!

I love dystopian/post-apocalyptic stuff (be it in movies or video games).

I'll check the list at home (since I'm at work) but I'm pretty sure I should have a couple

of those in my movie collection....

And eke2k6, I will definitely try and read them (I have the first book on my Kindle already) but I

started with Guillermo Del Toro's Vamp series (The Strain)... maybe once I finish those.

The only bad thing is that I can't find time to read lately!! :-(

Some updates:

I'll hopefully be finished with my TH900 impressions by tomorrow. I've got pictures and notes, and most of what I feel I want to convey has been written out more or less. Did I mention I love these headphones? Because I do.

After that I'll be posting more FitEar TG 334 impressions / comparisons. Then I'll be getting around to my Edition 10 vindication article and musings on the Piano Forte IX and X.

Oh, and I've got the Heaven IV and the Ocharaku Flat-4 coming in the next few weeks, so expect some impressions for those too.

Oh my you have the Tea earphone coming in!  biggrin.gif

I was thinking of getting the Ortofon e-Q5 from Amazon JP, and then I saw the FAD Heaven IV there. I guess I will wait a little bit to see how you think of it.

I had the E-Q5. I loved the sound but the rotating cable strain relief doohicky drove me mad. It wasn't possible to wear over the ears because the cable would just rotate back to the 'down' position, and flop around while you walked. I swapped Heaven A's for the EQ-5 and looking back I regret the decision.

I see. So, potential annoyance with the cable that comes out from the back of the housing. I will note that down.

I usually wear my earphones cable down so it shouldn't annoy me much, as long as it is comfortable and isolate well enough (by well, I mean at least on par or better than acrylic ciem).
