Buying refurbs (thoughts?)

I've been looking at some prices on amazon and other sites.

The refurbs are pretty cheap relative to the brand new. The Senn HD650s are 290 refurb, as opposed to around 399-499 new. denon d7000 are significantly cheaper as a refurb too.

I generally hate buying refurbs but with the senn hd650 since they are just snap together I have less fear. With authorized seller, and manufacture warranty what do you guys think?

Well you generally get a limited 90 day warranty on such things. But confirm with the dealer and of course make sure they are actually authorized so you don't get left holding the back. Also if you are a US resident you can easily buy a full 2 year warranty from square trade on the cheaps so its not a far fetch at all. If you go this route PM me and I'll hook you up with some great discount coupon codes which will save you even more money. Good luck :).
