Hi, I was wondering if there was an alternative to the cable provided, I hate the coiled up cable.

Thanks

It's not really easy, but you can build your own cable. Basically it's a 2.5mm-to-3.5mm interconnect, so you need some cable (mogami w2534 or w2893, or canare), some plugs (remember one is 2.5mm, it's not a regular mini 3.5mm plug. 3.5mm can be Neutrik or canare, for the 2.5mm Redco has some pretty good ones). A more complicated solution would be to replace the 2.5mm jack with a 3.5mm one, but that might not be easy for someone new.

Or... you can buy a new cable, although I don't think there are many 2.5mm ones.
