Considering buying these headphones. Any other ones in the same price range/category i should also be looking at for the price? Thanks!

This is a review of a pair of free IEM's I recieved from DUNU as part of a give away contest they recently held here on Head-fi. When I recieved my package the first thing I notices was...

Best closed headphones I had heard - very flat response, almost no midrange distortion, very easy to drive (good for portable), good soundstage (definately better than K240), good isolation, but...

Overall excellent buds, very good sound quality, especially for their price, the medium set of tips fits exactly in my ears and provides a near perfect seal. Bass is very detailed, but not...

I'll keep this very short. They are very smooth sounding. Treble toned down so not so good for rock but have a magic about them that makes them better than mark 2. I use them with a '89/'90...

You might look into the CAL's and the shure 440. Of the phones in that price range that I heard myself, I had an Equation RP21 that I liked a lot better than the v6, but I blew a driver. I'm not a big fan of the sonys...too bright and harsh, imo.
Sony 7506 and Sony ZX700 are a couple of headphones closer to the $100 range that you might consider. Both are usually more expensive than the V6. The V6 was selling for $65 before Christmas, but recent shortages have made the price jump up.
AKG K240 Studio
KRK 6400 and 8400 are also well respected around here, though the 8400 is probably outside your price range.
Creative Aurvana Live! if you are just looking for a good set under $100. They aren't suitable for monitoring work, but have a warm tone with a bit of bass bias.
