I have an iPod Touch and I'm want to purchase a IEM that is around $150. I want them to be comfortable, good bass but not overpowering, and a balanced sound. The type of music I listen to is Rock. Please recommend me a iem.

Triple.Fi 10 from Amazon? It's not the most comfortable IEM, but it's the best one in your price range. (Actually, it's $160. But it's worth going $10 over budget. :P)

And if by "Balanced" you mean "Neutral", Nevermind the TF10's and get the HiFiMan RE0's.
The TF10's have a somewhat V-shaped sound signature.

I have zero comfort issues with the TF10, but of course not everyone ears are the same.

The TF10s are great for rock for sure. Comfort and fit will vary from user to user, but it may be encouraging to know that I also have no problems with its fit and I don't exactly have big ears.

I decided that I do not want to spend that much money on earphones, because money is really tight for me right now. So I decided to buy earphones that are less expensive, but have good sound quality according to people's reviews. The earphones that I ordered today from www.amazon.com are the Sony MDR-EX310LP's.

Nice! I've heard the older EX300 and it thought it was pretty balanced. I bet the EX310 is even better.
