I can never make my mind up on a pair of headhones, So I am choosing whether to get the sr225's or 325's, because I have heard there was not much of a difference, I value clarity but need a fun pair of headphones, I'm a student so every penny counts. If there're any other suggestion I will intake with an open minds. So which do I choose?

I personally chose the 325 over the 225, because I preferred a brighter treble, punchier bass, detailed, resolving, and aggressive headphone.  The 325 is at that peak, and as you move up or down their production line (or into the Alessandros) they are smoother and less brash.  If you are worried that the 325 might be too intense and harsh, the 225 is probably a better choice.  But if you want to embrace a headphone that is very in-your-face with more louder music or intimate with softer recordings, the 325 is your can.

I had the same problem and there was no where I could audition them. So I bought both

I then sold my SR225s as I preferred the better bass and detailing of the 325s. My suggestion is to try 225s as you are on a tight budget. You can upgrade later.

After listening to both I would not accept anything less than the 325s in the grado lineup.  They enjoyed them much more in every aspect.

On the other hand I really couldn't find a drastic difference in the 125 vs 225 to justify the price difference between the two.  I'd argue to skip them both and go 325 off the bat.

I agree the 325i will always be a bright beast but it can be tamed with a good source and appropriate amp, the wrong setup
and/or material turns them into shrilly things ~ but their speed and detail through the mid range is outstanding.

If you choose the MS2i then this is the page you want.
