does anybody have any idea why monster turbines are backordered? I am waiting for my gold...

I tried calling monster several times and costumer support has no clue whats going on or why are they on backorder for such a long time..... Best buy has them on backorder as well. Are they coming up with new model or something?? How can such a big company be out of inventory for such a long time..................

It sure looks like it. Their website has a bunch of new models that are radically different in terms of shape, glitter, and commercialism.  Also, it doesn't help that the turbine line is flooded with fakes.  The models are a few years old now, so business wise it's out with the old and in with the new, so to speak.

I looked over pictures for monster turbine pro gold on the monstercable website and noticed that golds come now with

 

"Adjustable ear hooks keeps earphones in place comfortably for active lifestyles" and the cable part right bellow earbud is improved and looks different. I wonder if the speaker itself is improved.

As to why they're so backordered -- who knows. Ask for the Miles Davis Trumpets in lieu of them. A couple people have done the same already.
