HD 650's New or Refurbished? ($100 difference)

I'm about to pull the trigger for some 650's on Amazon and I was wondering if it was worth getting the refurb'ed ones and saving $100 or should I just go ahead and get the new ones?

New is $400 and refurb is $300

The 650s come down in price to about $350ish every now and then, so unless you need them now, it might be worth waiting and getting new ones for $350.

Also, while I'm sure most refurbs are just fine, by strikeout ratio on refurbs is too high (failed products) and I'm too scared off to try again.

Thanks for the quick response! I think I may go ahead and get the new ones. I have heard that they come down to 350 sometimes but I'm far too impatient for that.

Well damn. wasn't expecting to see another Alabama fan in here. And I'm from Georgia as well (currently attending UA though). Roll tide!

I got my Ph.D. from Alabama.  Now I work and live in Savannah.
