Hey, Head-Fi. I'm back again with another question. Since you guys introduced me my first true love the last time I came here (thanks again to those that recommended the Ultrasone DJ1 :D), I'm wondering about this amp.
My laptop is an HP Pavilion Dv6 with Beats Audio. Now I know their headphones aren't that great (not bad, but overpriced), but I actually am impressed with the sound card in this laptop. My only problem is, it's not loud enough for me, and there also is a hissing sound sometimes. I was wondering if buying this amp would greatly improve the sound coming out of my laptop. Also, I own a pair of Audio Technica M40fs (1/4" plug), and I think I could finally get some use out of them using this amp. So if anyone can give me some insight on the amp, or a better amp at the same price (I can't spend more than $100, which is why I'm interested in this amp), I'd greatly appreciate it.
And yes, this will be my first amp.
