The Location:

Ray Kimber's newly acquired personal flight hangar. Ray keeps his "pride and joy" in this flight hangar. I'll say no more. Think Motorcycle collections and BMW collections.. Spectra also used to manufacturer mics and amps, and turntables in the 1970's here. There will be a lot of neat history at this location. There will also be refreshments, tables, and chairs already at this location. All we require is you, your cans, and a powerstrip - just to make sure. It is also encouraged to bring your Amps and sources.

^^ Pictures of the KGSSHV will come. As far as I know the Sr 009 is basically unopened, only being used to test that it works... The attendees at this meet will be very lucky indeed. We've all met before and while there are more people in UT, I didn't invite many. (Mostly because the last meet I organized was a lot of work..) This is meant to assemble all the best of the best in one room. But mainly the small number is because Ray's hosting and he's got many, many millions of dollars worth of toys on our venue.

I wish we could wait too, but as Eric said, the KGSSHV is being shipped out later that day. And Ray's schedule only the 28th is open up till late March this year.

We may have another one sooner than that. It was great to see you again Jalo! I think 8-10 weeks sounds fair? Followed by a long break? I'm hoping you may have your lcd-3's/upgrade path by then. I hope to have my own working KGSSHV and Buffallo III Dac at that time.. Once we got it running through the ExTata.. OHhhhhh "Hhhhnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnyyyggghhh" We'll have to see how the ESP 950 sounds through it. I really enjoyed that headphone this time around. (ExTaTa as well.) I cannot wait to see tangible improvements. I could still hear the potential from both the Sr 009 and ESP 950, my favorite complimentary Estats these days.
